I am back from Algonquin,
where I went from Sunday to Wednesday in search of moose. I saw eight of them, including the one below. I will post more moose photos later. During the trip, I took well over 300 pictures, on digital media, color positive, and black and white negative film. I have yet to develop the black and white film, but I am hoping that I came out with some strong images on it, as those would be eligible for the B&W category in the HHCC competition.

I finally say trilliums in bloom in Ontario--despite it being the provincial symbol, I had always managed to miss them. Both the red ones and the white ones were out:
THe link below is a stitched panorama, my first attempt at doing this. It is okay, but I will have to put more effort into the next one to imporve a variety of aspects. I have reduced it to 480px tall and 3012px wide:
