Hi hi!
Så! I'm in a good mood. Plans are being made and fun is in the near future.

Last night I went to the swim hall in Vamdrup with Inger Marie and Hans Peter and a couple from Kastvrå. It felt soooo good for my back to swim in a warm pool after an hour of brick-laying. There was a sauna too so I saunaed it up...naked. Being in Europe really makes me realize how uptight American's are. It's totaly normal at every swim/health facility that you must take naked showers in front of everyone and go in the sauna naked. Well you can bring a towel.
When we got back we went up to Hans Peter and Rita's house to enjoy the lovely Christmassy dessert table Rita had set for us...æbleskiver and fried crunchy dough things and cookies and gløgg that was quite heavily spiked. We ate and hygged and then I went to bed. Ah, it was nice.

I had to watch Mads today...really, he's a pleasure. We were suprised this morning with the beautiful gift of snow...REAL snow this time that stuck on the ground. Oh, it's so beautiful here with snow blanketing everything! When Pia's mom came to take over babysitting, I went outside to play with the neighborhood kids; Esben, Henrik, and Brian, who were sledding on the hill in the horse paddock. The fun escalated into a snowball fight...it was great! I haven't had a good snowball fight in ages. Naturally the three boys ganged up on me and Inger Marie, but we certainly didn't hold back on account of that they are 10-year-olds. After, IM and I fed carrots and bread to the horses...I haven't been paying much attention to them lately and I feel bad. Did I ever mention the horses? Peter and Pia have two Icelandic horses, Duva and Flippa. They are absolutely beautiful, both all black and now equipped with their shaggy winter coats.

Tonight I am going out for Chinese food and later a movie with Torben...I think we may see King Kong. I hear it's very long, but good.

Tomorrow Nis is taking me to a Christmas lunch in Kolding. At least I think he is. He was supposed to call me back with details. I don't know...it will be a bunch of Danish people who I don't know, talking Danish. But there will be good food. That's all I need.
