Did you ever find that a blank canvas was a little bit too inspiring? I have a set of wooden drawers I got for like $10.00 at IKEA which is just perfect for me to go all insane with it.. but I have so many ideas for it, I can't make up my mind ( Read more... )

I have discovered that when I have a bunch of idea about something, the one that I really want hasn't surfaced yet. When it does, the others all pale by comparison.

I'll second that. After I taught myself the basics of Flash animation this month, I spent many days without any ideas I liked for stories to tell to exercise myself. What I was really waiting for wasn't a story idea but a series premise to inspire and herd the stories. As of yesterday the first one's in the virtual can. The website'll go live when six are done.
