Because it is happening. And will need its own masterpost, and I need to keep the bits and ideas somewhere. And because half of this is uniformly's fault. And because I need your fellow brilliant minds in coming up with all the schemes for modern day Gibson trying to get into modern day Runner's pants, okay ( Read more... )

I just finished it and jesus this episode was like "down, up, down up, down down downdowndowndownohgod ....up' I maybe cried a little tear when Runner showed up and then a bigger one when he reminded me of Chuckler out there all alone. I don't think I want to be spoiled for it because then I'll just be dreading when it comes but thanks!

Yes, oh gosh yes to the feelings on both series. BoB had episodes that are painful to watch but you could because there is so much brotherhood and togetherness and it's meant to be about how we were just and good and (waves hands about) stuff. What you said. I cannot bring myself to watch more then two episodes of Pacific together because it is .....it is grim, grim war reality. It's so painful to watch.

On another note, which you might find hilariously sad; I recognized Ack Ack and Hillbilly first thing ....because boy. Those two were kinda glued at the hip. And Snafu really IS a creepy stalker! I was surprised by his creepy-stalkerness ways! I thought maybe that was just fandom.

I'm coming back and reading your AU after every episode; it makes me feel better to think of Snafu getting off that train alone and having Roe there for him.

The Pacific is def. painful to watch, which is why I get people don't omg-love it, but I appreciate it, b/c it doesn't pull any punches. It's brutal, but it's being honest to what happened in (part) of the PTO.

Ack-Ack and Hillbilly are a pretty tight-nit team. And yes, when it comes to Snafu, basically, fandom never goes off the mark, b/c he really is a creepy stalker who does not understand personal space.
