So yesterday I saw both the matinee and evening show of Spring Awakening, the latter of which was the final performance of the 1st National Tour. I saw the matinee from way up in the balcony, but I student rushed the evening show and got a pretty decent seat, but it was really far to the right. So, during intermission, my friend (who just so happened to be there) and I lurked around the front rows and took some empty seats. I watched Act II from the fourth row. IT WAS INTENSE.
It was amazing. I cried twice in the matinee (The Dark I Know Well actually just made me water up but I had the tears rolling down my cheeks in Left Behind) and I cried during the Song of Purple Summer at the evening show. The cast just looked so emotional and it overflowed. I would go on about it but that would get boring.
Anywho, so I go home after stagedooring and I am supposed to write an English paper about Huck Finn, two study guide quizzes for English, some math project thing that isn't really a project, and study for a Latin test. I did nothing for a while and ended up writing the first two paragraphs of the paper, falling asleep on accident at 1 am, waking up (thank goodness) at 4 am, finishing the paper, trying to do the rest of my homework, eating breakfast, and then going to sleep. School was hellishly tiresome today, but I managed to take the test, do the project in class (like I said, it wasn't a real project), and the quizzes weren't due today anyways. I'm going to go to sleep early tonight because I don't want to be tired on my BIRTHDAY which is TOMORROW. YAAAAAAAAAAAAY. SIXTEEN YEARS OLD. ELDERLY. CANES AND WHEELCHAIRS.
