Drama Summer!
Well, this past Labor day weekend certainly put the exclamation point at the end of what has been a very dramatic summer. Nothing happened to me personally, but something very bad happened to a very close friend of ours. I don't really want to go into it here because it's a very long and complicated matter. He's having a hard time of it right now and he's been staying with us. I feel bad, but there's really nothing anyone can do to really help him. It's something he has to get over himself.
Anyway, I did see Superbad over the weekend. It was really funny, definitely worth the money. I don't think it was quite as funny as The 40 Year Old Virgin or Knocked Up, but it was still very enjoyable. Glad the otherwise disappointing movie season could end on a good note. 8 out of 10.
Tomorrow I have a boring day ahead of me, except for my haircut which I am very much looking forward to because my hair is much too long. I'm dog sitting my parents (my, I guess) dog. Overnight. And that sucks in so many ways because that dog never settles down and sleeps through the night when I'm watching her. Okay, she did one time. But one time out of like 30 times is not a lot. My odds aren't good.
We're going back to Disney next week! I'm so excited. We're going to have a great time. I'm really looking forward to the Halloween party. Yeah, it's a little early for Halloween, but I don't care.
I hope the rest of this work day goes past... I never wanna be here.
