I'm scared of FFXII. I don't know if I'll like it. Really. It seems way too MMORPG like. And I *hate* those kind of games. And I think a lot of FF fans do too.
Apparently with the battle system, you basically program what the characters do ahead of time? Wtf?! How is that appealing? If I want to set something and walk away I'm not gonna play a video game.
I'm hoping the online descriptions of the game that I have read are misleading. Because if I get this game and I don't like it, I'm going to be quite upset. If I don't like this game, I doubt I will ever buy another FF game again, unless they remake an old one or really go back to their roots.
Now just because the game looks shitty doesn't mean it will be. I thought FFX-2 was gonna suck hard core but I ended up loving that game. (Mostly for the gameplay and story...not for those characters.) I hope I'm just as wrong about this game...
