I'd been feeling really bad about my wedding gown lately, but I took another look at it today and discovered that it really is rather pretty. I do like it. I wish it would come in already so I could remember better!

Speaking of the wedding, the following things are booked:

Reception/Ceremony site
Photographer
Videographer
Florist
DJ

Anyway, onto more exciting things...

So I was rather bored last night so I go into my armorie and dig out my manga. I don't really have too much, there's just two series that I've really collected. One of those is, of course, Fake. I have it all in English and Japanese. Then there's Kizuna. I have all that's been released in English and Japanese. That's 5 volumes in English (next volume is coming out in October...finally.) and 9 volumes in Japanese. Which actually shocked me. Because I thought I only had 8. I didn't even remember "reading" (i.e. looking at the pictures) in the 9th one. So I did that, and it didn't look familiar at all. So I sat there for awhile looking at it, wondering how the hell I could forget about a whole volume like this.

Looking at the end, it still didn't look like this was the last volume.

Could there be more?

So I hopped onto the internet vowing to find out the truth. The site I used to buy my manga off of is no longer there. I'm lucky enough that there's a Japanese bookstore at a mall about 45 minutes from my house. They carry a whole slew of manga both in English and Japanese and they have yaoi and everything. I know because I looked. Of course. Anyway, the last time I actually remember looking for Kizuna (in Japanese) they only had up to volume VIII, which I remembered getting. And obviously IX has been out for awhile because I totally forgot I had it to begin with.

According to Wikipedia, which of course knows all, there are currently *ten* volumes of Kizuna.

10?! I thought to myself. 10?! I have to find that tenth volume! Sure, I couldn't read it, but it was the principle of the thing. I already had 9 volumes in Japanese, why stop now? So I started looking on the internet. And looking. And looking. Checked the website for that bookstore in the mall, they didn't have it. Finally I found it at another online Japanese bookstore. And there was much rejoicing. So of course I ordered it, and when it gets here I won't be surprised if this isn't the last volume either. And this series has been going on since 1994!

I don't know. So that's my boring story.

books, wedding, yaoi
