Well, it's decided. I'm finally going to sit down and write my damn novel.

It still doesn't have a title, which really pisses me off. I really need a good title. I hate writing something without a title. So I have to think of something. And I'm still doing all the backstory, details and such, but that's almost done. I wrote 3 200+ page novels when I was like 15 years old, I think I can handle it now.

What kicked me into high gear? According to my friend Nick (who is meeting with DC Vertigo this week and is very, very close to selling a comic!!) he knows some guy who got 20,000 bucks advance on his first novel. I don't know which publisher, because Brian didn't ask, but I'm going to find out the details. Because if Nick knows somebody who did it, I can do. Plus I have a good idea for a comic (well, it was a novel first, but I think it would be better as a comic actually), so if Nick sells his, maybe we can collaborate on my project.

If anyone's wondering, he got into DC through some guy he knew who was an intern there.

Okay, back to writing more backstory and trying to think of a damn title.
