Derek Jeter hit his first ever grand slam homerun today!!! FINALLY! It was so excited! Brian and I were sitting in the Uno's in the Danbury Mall in CT eating an early dinner and watching it on TV, and Jeter came up with the bases loaded. He did that last night and nothing happened, but this time I had this weird feeling. And I turned my head a second. And when I turned it back I saw the ball flying through the air headed for the left field wall.
At first I thought No.Fucking.Way. It was going to get caught or something.
But no. No. It went out! It was awesome! I was like, "OMG! HE DID IT!" right in the middle of the restaurant I was so excited. I had been waiting for this to happen for so long and it finally did! Previously he was the player with the most at bats with the bases loaded without a grand slam. Not anymore! YAY!
Anyway.
xinxchainsx, miss_mishlet and I are 100% sure we are coming out to NV for your birthday. We're going to buy the tickets this week.
And muchitsujo, miss_mishlet and I will pick you and Ben up at the train station at 3:29 on Tuesday! I'm almost positive we will be seeing Randy Johnson pitch that night. I haven't seen him pitch yet. Exciting.
