(no subject)
So, it's back to the daily grind, I guess. This weekend was a disappointment. Thanksgiving was good, but everything else was just...blah. Yesterday we went to see the Nutcracker at Lincoln Center, which was okay. I'm not a big ballet fan. I was shocked at all the little kids that were there. I would never bring a small child to that. If Brian was falling asleep, I don't know how a kid would make it. Afterwords we were pointlessly dragged around the surrounding area to find a restaurant. We found nothing, and my feet were killing me and I twisted my ankle pretty badly in the process. I wore not the most comfortable shoes because I was told we were not going to be walking around! But the funny thing is that Brian totally called what his family would do. Totally. My family would never go walking around after a Sunday night performence. You gome home and relax on Sunday night!
So after we finally got home (and grabbed Wendy's) last night I watched the Christmas Carol special on NBC, which was pretty good. I thought it was going to be original, but it wasn't. It's the same thing they have at Madison Square Garden every year. The first time I saw that show I HATED it. But when I saw it last year, I enjoyed it. I think I liked it because I didn't have screaming little children around me like I did the first time, and our seats were actually decent. Anyway, I enjoyed the TV version.
