Wedding plans are underway...
Boy, I've missed the old El Jay! I've just been really busy, simultaneously trying to get my law school apps out AND planning the wedding. But we've finally decided on a date...June 8, 2007! Squee! I wish it could be even sooner, I'm so ready to be married already!
I'm lucky to live in Louisiana, at least when it come to wedding planning. There are so many beautiful plantations and other historical places where we could have the wedding. But I think we've finally decided on the right place: White Oak Plantation, which is literally two minutes from our house.
That's where I will become "Mrs. Wightkin." Or "Mrs. McCumsey-Wightkin", I haven't decided yet. Though that would be incredibly cruel to telemarketers and others attempting to say my name(s). They're actually both pronounced exactly as they are spelled, but you should hear the crazy pronunciations we get, hee.
I've been reading everyone's posts, I just haven't had time to make any to my own LJ. Hopefully things will calm now once with have the major stuff done for the wedding, and I'll be able to post more. Hope everyone has a great week!!
