Sometimes the intelligence of our students amazes me...
So a resident in my hall has a zoo in her room. Thats right, a large rabbit, a hamster, and mice or something. I mean, I have a turtle, but large rodents are definitely pushing it!
Mind you she has a single, and its hot, and so the smells you can easily imagine. (My roomie Jessica can atest to this).
So this weekend I am minding mine own business and going into the bathroom to use a shower when- lo and behold- there are two plastic boxes covered by a red blanket. "Oh God". I think to myself. Please don't let this be the rabbit. I look under the blanket and sure enough, the big rabbit is hanging out under there. Apparently it got too stinky for her room and so she decided to share its smell and presence with the rest of us in the hall by moving its living space to our bathroom.
Reasons this is a stupid idea:
1. Its a big bunny, it needs space to move
2. No ventilation with a blanket over it
3. Bunnies are supposed to be in the dark all the time
4. Its smelling up the bathroom
5. What were you thinking?
6. Have you no concern for others who use the bathroom???
Strangely shes a bio major. Go figure.
Luckily the staff put a letter on the bunny asking the owner to remove it before Campus Safety does. Its still there. This is because either...
1. She hasn't noticed the note which is unlikely because she needs to use the restroom at some point right?
2. She just wants to get rid of it and so left it for campus safety to take care of it
3. She doesnt actually believe campus safety will remove it.
Poor bunny.
