Here I am again =)
School Univ is gonna start in a week~ I haven't felt like I've been in a good rest yet, hehe. And my face hasn't recovered from damage...geez. Plus, these braces on my teeth are ruining my singing voice.

A few days ago I've read like...5 books? Those ones I've got from the Book Fair, they're all great...but in different ways. Most of them are Chinese literatures, since I've studied Chinese, I should read something Chinese too, ain't I? :P Well, as an Asian, and a bookworm who have read many books, I found out that I always fell in love with Asian literatures. It's not that western literatures are not good, they have their own impressions to me as well. Still Asian books gave me another sort of impressions :)

After Dark :: Haruki Murakami
I've heard about Murakami for a while, from bookstores, bloggers and some friends of mine. So I decided to try his book myself. His words are both simple and luxurious at the same time (haha I don't know exactly how to express my opinion) All characters are charming~ my most favorite is Kaoru, haha. And the double world idea is really great. In the other hand this book gave me a great wonder about...how things go outside at night when we're sleeping. Overall I was only a bit disappointed...because almost everyone told me that his books are real great, or maybe it's just because his books are not my taste~ Anyway, I think I might give another try on his Norwegian Wood.

The Pawn Shop No. 8 :: Zita Law
This one is from a beautiful Taiwanese writer. About the pawn shop no.8, a place where you can pawn anything...your eyes, your legs, your luck or even your love for everything you want in life...and you will never be able to redeem anything back. OMG I really love this idea, haha. It's sooo creative to think about this sort of thing. Each characters have knots in their minds which lead to the end of the story...but I hate the end of this story. My most favorite part was when the shopkeeper went to the hospital to visit his wife who's gonna die soon...he asked her why didn't she find a new husband so she could have a new life and greater love.

'You're back...' she cried, sighed and look at his young face. In that moment she thought that time has turned back and she was young again, she's his young wife.

He answered 'I hasn't gone anywhere'

She seemed not really understand the whole thing...but still answered 'I know'

'Do you know...I've gone for your whole life happiness...but why did you still deny those people who could give you happiness again and again...'

Li Yunyin smiled 'Because I've already been in happiness for all of my life'

The shopkeeper didn't understand, he looked at her face.

Li Yunyin said 'Having you in my heart for all of my life...is my happiness'

The shopkeeper stood silently. He never thought that her happiness will have become this way. Happiness that she wanted was to remain lonely...silently...and in pain for a long time.

'I'm sorry' he said.

'There's nothing to say sorry for, my life has only you'

'Yunyin' he held her hand so tight.

'I should be the one who thank you' she looked at him, the face that she has deeply loved for all of her life 'You are my happiness'

Then he saw Yunyin slowly closed her eyes, her lips those filled with marks of time...filled with beautiful smile.

She's died.

Gosh, you know, I cried...how can someone love each other so deeply... TT___TT
I'm enjoying my books!!! >o
