I socialised!
I decided that I need to do something about making new friends so I got in contact with the St Albans Ladies Circle (local group of women aged 18-45), and when they invited me to a charity quiz night I actually said yes!
So last Thursday we sat in a school hall drinking red wine out of plastic cups and attempting to answer questions - actually we didn't do too badly, we actually came second!
They meet up regularly twice a month as well as doing charity stuff maybe once a month. Don't know if i can make the next meeting though, have a stupid event at work that I will probably be required to attend, especially since I helped arrange it.
Interesting reactions from the parentals though - mum can't understand why I would want to go out and meet new people, and dad thinks it will help me find a man!!!
