Ok, so Heather and I went and visited a potential hall yesterday. Overall, I'm very excited about it, with the exception of the price (we have to come up with $1000 total, $100 of which we'll get back, barring we don't destroy anything).
Here are some pictures:
This is a very dark picture of the inside of the hall. I'm sorry it turned out so crappy, it flashed and everything, so I don't know why you can't really see it. But, the wooden rafters and rustic interior will make a good mead hall. The tables won't be set like this btw.
Here's another shot of the inside, by the fireplace. We're thinking of doing our actual ceremony right there, with the head table either over at the end of the hall, or on the other side, by the windows.
This is the kitchen.
This is part of the patio, where we will probably set up the bar. The outside really got me excited.

There are some pics of the deck. I really like it. Waterfront, too!
The place has possibilities. And holds up to 160 so we know we'll definitely have room. ^_^
