So I just found out that in March NBC decided not to tape and air a second season of Baby Borrowers because too many people whined. :(
The ONLY valid point I could find against it was that the children might not handle being away from their parents well...which doesn't really hold up, because the producers specifically were looking for children used to day care and separation situations, and since the parents were in the same neighborhood, any child who sincerely wasn't handling it well could immediately be visited by or returned to their parents.
Bah. And I'd been waiting for another season, too. *sad face*
