It's no secret that I love winter, and I realized today that I don't have many pictures of Lake Superior when it's frozen, and while I am hoping to get some great shots when we hike out to the ice caves, it looks like it's going to be a while still until the ice is frozen enough.
I may take out the Blackbird (yes, that is my car :P) in a bit, drive up to Bayfield and get some shots, but in the meantime, I was looking over some photos I took this past summer, and if there's anything that actually makes me wish it were summer, it's my favorite Great Lake.
I really have a pet peeve about people in my nature shots, but it was really crowded at the state park that day, and I couldn't get this shot of the lighthouse without someone in it. In this case, I think it works.
