A truly awesome event and for me one of the best. For me the mark of a good game is one where one's character develops and changes as a result of interacting with other people and there is no doubt that this has happened to Rheinfelden.
Anyway my group is just full of brilliant people all of whom help to make Maelstrom what it is for me and it was great to start to get to know the Bastet players who are also excellent players both OC and IC - looking forward to getting to know them better.
In summary the event had it all, diplomacy (yes I am as surprised as everyone else), a great one on one duel to the death - kudos to the player of Akimoto of the Ordo Dictus Domini (I think) and I even got to deliver what has to have been the world's worst ever marriage proposal.
Dear gods, Rheinfelden is getting married.....
