Here is the lighthearted entry that I promised. Only two days till the weekend and I am in a very good mood! This may sound nerdy but I'm actually starting to enjoy my classes. I found myself very interested in what we were learning in class today! Ok, I'm officially a dork! I also think I'm a hypochondriac because everytime I read about all these different diseases and syndromes, I think I have some of them. I think I'm at risk for stroke because I've been having occasional headaches, I am showing symptoms of diabetes cause I pee all the time and am always thirsty, and I'm going to get glaucoma because my vision is blurred. (ok ok, it's when my contacts aren't in!) So basically I'm dieing.

Today as I was walking out of the Student Center I spotted baked goods out of the corner of my eye. I never pass up a chance to get cheap, home-made goodies. So I saunter over to the table and greedily eye all the cookies, muffins and...fudge! There was one small bag of it left and seeing that I have a small affinity for chocolate I couldn't pass up the chance to munch on some soft and gooey fudge while studying. Plus, I even got it for the marked down price of 25 cents. I soon figured out why it was so cheap. I believe it was the most disgusting fudge I have ever had. It was gritty and even worse...it had nuts in it. Nuts have no business being in fudge. Why would you put something hard and brittle in something as delectable as fudge? I could keep going about this but I choose to cease my rant now.

Sidenote: Two days ago the high in Anchorage Alaska was 33 degrees. The high in Lexington...18 degrees. Something is utterly and despicably wrong there.

Today we had annoying rain. What some people like to describe as "spitting." I highly dislike this type of rain while driving because it's not raining hard enough to actually turn the windshield wipers on because it makes that annoying squeaking sound but raining ever so lightly as to slighty blur your vision. And if you know me, you know that I cannot stand to have one water droplet on my windshield. So basically this hole scenario leads to me having to manually turn my windsheild wipers on everytime the windshield became saturated with rain. Oh the lengths I go to for Stan... Speaking of Stan (my car) he has been having problems as of late. As in, the door was frozen so it would open, then not close. It's not fun when your going 60 miles an hour down New Circle Rd and the driver side door flies open. I had to grab it and hold it closed the rest of the way home. Scary...

Poorna just wound up her arm about 5 times just to throw her socks in the dirty clothes. She's crazy! But I suppose thats why we are such compatible roomies, cause we are both crazy!! Tee hee hee, I'm going now. Time to do some more espanol. Adios mis amigos! (in country accent)
