Study like a Rockstar!
Today me and Suz were studious. We spent our whole Saturday in the library studying our lives away. Under normal circumstances half of this time would have been spent trying to keep my eyes open/napping. But oh no...instead we had the brilliant idea of buying the high energy drink "Rockstar." This stuff is like Red Bull x10. Not only that, we accidentally bought the double dose cans. So we settle down at our table with all our notes and books and crack open our cans. We each take one sip and the most disgusted look comes over both of us as we realize just how hard it is going to be to drink the whole can. But I was determined to do so or else I would spend 4 of the 8 hours I was there slobbering on my notes. Suz came up with the brilliant idea of using gummy worms as "chasers" if you will. So take a sip, make a face, eat a gummy worm became the morning routine. And let me just, that stuff worked. Within 20 minutes I was wide awake, incessantly tapping my foot or clicking my pen, and feeling like I could run 10 miles. The drink motto was "Party like a Rockstar." We changed our it to our daily motto of"Study like a Rockstar!" Which is what we did. Not to mention the drink had the lovely side effect of going straight through me. Don't worry, Suz and I kept a tally of our bathroom trips. Laura:8, Suz:7. We retired early, went home and ate cookies. And I just had a beer. And it was great.
