Monthly Aphrodite day
Since I follow a monthly & solar calendar (I have enough fun remembering solar days of the month - lunar calendars just don't work for me), I honour Aphrodite on the fourth of the month. And today, after a shitty day of cold, cold and college, I got given a present, randomly--a lovely little bracelet with four charms/tags: a circle with 'HOPE' inscribed, 'PEACE' on a rectangle, a little peace sign, and a small heart with a cross on it.
The cross isn't important - it's the fact that its very hippy (a subculture I associate with Aphrodite), that I got it on her day, and that it was given out of affection that makes it now a part of my devotional jewellery. :)
