i hate work in a way i cannot type out
well a few entries ago, and now a few weeks ago, i wrote about work fucking overloading me and practially everyone with hours. its reached a new agitation that i cannot stand any longer.
to start, my manager in bookkeeping is this wonderful woman named colleen who creates schedules and breaks and time off that not only caters to everyone on the schedule but is fair and balanced and what people request. and every week that she makes these, our assistant manager might as well have ripped them up and started over. so i spoke to colleen a few weeks back on this issue, which she was livid about because she splits herself between two stores, primarily not ours. we devised a 'request-two-days-in-the-book-so-they-cant-be-altered' plan. for one week that has followed suit.
to no ones surprise i dont think, this weeks schedule which colleen faxed to us on the fly has bee butchered again and i still will not being seeing the light of day. 5-10 hours switched to 130-10. 4-10s turned in to 2-10s. i'm sorry but i am 20 years old with minimal bills and i applied to work PART TIME and PART TIME only on PART TIME PAY for this summer. i want to go to the beach and do things in the morning that don't involve working. colleen understood this. julio does not.
add in to these schedule problems the fact that jenn is moving to FL early this week, sade is taking a vacation no one knew about, and zulmary is commuting from mastic and probably leaving soon. additionally, denise is looking for another job because of the heartache they give her over her nose ring and angie to follow because she needs money. I HATE WORKING THERE. i hate it and i only put up with it because i liked the people i worked with. now that theyre all dropping like flies most literally i have nothing to look forward to there. there is no amount of money that people keep quoting im making that makes this ok because i have absolutely no time to enjoy it or spend it or enjoy my life. this is nearly the last summer of my young years. and ill be God damned if some supid store is going to take that away from me.
july 10th starts my class. i am NOT.. NOT working those days because i am not paying $700 to do poorly. NOT working.
