Quick update: a couple from column A; a couple from column B
Well, I appear to have got through my last full week in the job. Next week I only have three days to do (albeit on what looks set to be a horrible case, not due to the charges, but due to the 'defence' rep, who is a reknowned PITA), as I booked a couple of days of time off in lieu, and they tradtionally make people's rotas a bit lighter in the final week so you can sort out and hand over properly.
I'm going to have to make some new plans for my days off next week, as it appears from the Flag Promotions website that Stripped club, the reason I booked next Friday off in the first place, is no more. I'm toying with the idea of going to the current thing at the Wellcome Collection, Death: a Self-Portrait.
On a sort-of related note, there was a fab pic in the Guardian this week, where somebody had constructed some zombie snowmen in an abandoned graveyard. I'm not sure if this link actually goes to the right thing, but I hope the Guardian pic I oringinally saw is here. If not, I found a less good photo of the same snowmen on a local website here:
