Tide turning?
As mentioned in an earlier post, I'd pretty much given up hope on the job application which went in on 1 July. When they say 'if you haven't heard from us within four weeks...', I tend to assume that I'll be hearing in the first week if I've actually been shortlisted...
Apparently not so. Today is Day 18, so imagine my surprise when I checked my e-mail today and discovered an invite to interview for Wednesday next week.
Now I must do a ton of research on the place (there's to be a 'task' for which this will be needed, according to the e-mail). Thank heavens I already bought an interview dress. Perhaps the trickiest bit of prep, given that this really isn't the weather for my usual 60-80 denier opaque blacks, is going to be finding 'flesh' coloured tights in a colour approximating my flesh!
