Hello fellow Cielers

I was wondering if anybody bought one of the older Laruku Bluray releases, like Reincarnation or Grand Cross or Real and could tell me something about the image quality . . I can't find any information if they improved quality of any kind. I own the Heavenly Bluray and there are some changes like 60fps but not all clips seem to be remastered or ( Read more... )

I don't own the BD but I remember seeing someone posted the screenshots to show us the differences. The more recent lives have significant improvement in quality while I could barely figure out the differences from the older ones.

And yeah, I agree with you. Carnival of True deserves a DVD, or better, BD.

I feel like there are not enough Laruku fans to get a pedition for older releases going . .. where the fuck ist everybody o.O This fandom needs a proper international forum like pieces in the past. But I guess with not much laruku going on forum would be dead too T_T

The repetitive hiatus makes fans alter their focus to other things. When our guys are on hiatus, there's less thing to discuss, right? I think that's why the fandom is getting quiet. The local L'Arc forum here also becomes less and less active because most of the members are now interested in other bands/boybands.

Have you listened to their latest single Everlasting? I haven't listened it myself but some people have expressed their disappointment because they were expecting something more kicking from the guys as this is their first new work after going hiatus.

According to the man who served as L'Arc~en~Ciel's liaison officer during World Tour 2012, he heard the talk about the guys' comeback in 2015. They'll hold another world tour. He said it in an open forum in front of media but I can't guarantee if his statement is valid or not because he's not in L'Arc's management. But let's hope that he didn't hear things wrong *crossfingers*

Yeah I listened to it, just uploaded radio version in this com. and I'm not impressed . ..don't know sounds a bit boring to me . . .and that would actually be a first for me with Laruku.
Seems to me like its 1 year of something 4-5year break, 1 year of something 4-5 year break thing . . . .
Butterfly was already a disappointing album if you think about how many of the songs we knew already for years as singles >____> Just hope they don't lose motivation or something.
I always thought solo stuff is the beginning of the end for a band.

I saw your post after I dropped comment here earlier. Too bad YouTube is blocked here so I can't listen to it.

Their recent singles are a bit boring to me. I didn't listen to them that much compared to their earlier releases. Some latest singles end up being decoration for my shelf without being played. I only heard them live. Sad, indeed. But I kinda feel that the band is getting tired of their own musical view and just throw us anything that (might) please us and -especially- their company.

Agree. But some people think that going solo is one of many ways for them to improve their skill and music. When the band members go separate ways, I always think that they're getting bored of what they're doing and using the hiatus to do some research of what kind of music the fans might accept if they were to truly disband and start anew.
