Hi good day to all! This is my virgin post in LJ! (Excited)
Not too long ago, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) of Japan actually started a event called "Cool Japan Month" in Singapore. (Details found here: http://www.cooljapan.com.sg/index.html and http://sgcafe.com/2011/10/cool-japan-month-launches-in-singapore/ )
Since there is such a hype in the Japanese culture, I'm thinking of using this as an opportunity to invite Le-cielers from Singapore to get as many signatures as possible as a petition to invite our beloved L'Arc~en~Ciel to perform here.
Since artists like Misia, Scandal, AKB48 had or going to perform here, there is market for Japanese artist in Singapore.
A couple of years back in Taiwan, fans of some japanese band (cant remember which group) actually gathered enough signatures and send the petition to the record company. The company was amazed by the number of people wanting them to come, and the fans' wishes actually came true.
Can this be made possible here?
