Badass Weekend Was Badass!
I got the opportunity to go to Texas Frightmare Weekend this weekend and it was super awesome! It was mostly awesome to me because since he is also a fantastic horror movie actor, Jeffory Combs was there. I got to do a photo op with him as Dr. Herbert West from Re-Animated. When I went to his table to get the picture autographed, he saw my Transformers shirt and actually said, "Hey! You're wearing a Transformers shirt! Did you know that I am also in Transformers? I play Ratchet!" All I could do was smile and say, "Yes, I know. That is why I am here today." When he wrote "I needed that!!" On my Ratchet picture, giggled. Apparently that is one of his favorite things to say. He just grinned when he said it out loud to me. I think he really enjoys playing Ratchet. He has to be one of the most adorable people ever. What he failed to see was that in the photo op picture I am wearing my Ratchet's Repair shirt. We joked that the syringe of green stuff was really synth-en. I had such a good time.
There were lots of cool people there. Tom Skerritt and Veronica Cartwright were there from the movie, Alien. Gary Busey, Dan Haggerty, Sean Patrick Flannery, Danny Trejo, and Meg Foster were just a few of the others that were there. It was really great fun. My sisters and a bunch of my friends went as well so we had a big group. There were some awesome costumes and everyone there was super nice. We almost made a drinking game out of watching Gary Busey molest women. Whenever a woman, especially a pretty one, would take a picture with him, he would kiss on them and in one case, his hand went up the back of a lady's skirt. That man is cray cray... But also hilarious to watch. Many women were sad that Norman Reedus had to cancel at the last minute to do some Walking Dead shooting but it didn't really bother me. I was there for one man and one man only. :P
