still behind in everything. tumblr is a black hole, good lord. but there is so much cool stuff there!
some cool things going on later:
-cousin wants me to road trip with him out to washington state, he might want to move out there and open up his own insurance business.
-i decided to be utterly stupid with my money and I'M GOING TO CHICON IN OCTOBER *_* i'm so going to regret that money wise (already starting to, actually) but i figured i might not get the chance to go again.
-I'M GOING TO NEW ZEALAND MARCH 2014!!
so those are fun things i'm looking forward to but having trouble figuring out how to afford it all. ChiCon is paid for, just need to pay off the card i used for that. road trip will be interesting if i don't pick up any more hours at work. theoretically i can afford NZ by the time next march rolls around but it's going to be tight. but i figure i should play while i'm young and don't have any "real" responsibilities as yet.
obviously, mom is thrilled about these. tried keeping the road trip from her but cousin spilled the beans while they were talking the other day.
oh, and my sister crashed my dad's truck. again. except this time, it's going to be scrapped. friday was so shitty, it was snowing and so windy that it was basically a whiteout. her friend got stuck in a ditch so she took the truck to help pull him out and on their way back home this guy with a plow snagged the front bumper of the truck and she ended up in the ditch. no one was hurt thankfully, and no one was cited. that was an interesting phone call with my dad. on the plus side he gets to buy the new truck he's been wanting?
time to go finish my music project now. then a presentation on it later tonight. joy.
