Long post about life got longer than anticipated

So, second week of classes has started. Things are going okay so far, somehow I did manage to miss my English class last Thursday but other than that I'm understanding everything and haven't fallen behind. I'm even following math! MATH. Probably because most of what we're doing right now is a review of the course before the one I'm in, which is a class covered by credit from Carroll but still. Most of this stuff I haven't had to use in about four years so the fact that I'm actually understanding things so far? It's fricken' awesome.

I'm debating in getting a new computer. I really want one if the convertible ones, the ones that can fold flat or turn almost into a tablet? There are a lot of classes now that have their books online, to buy or rent, and it's about 60% cheaper a lot if the time. Especially when you consider that trying to sell books back to the school is a pain in the ass. Last year I got ~$20 for ~$200 worth of books. Needless to say I was NOT impressed. Anyway, the main bookstore I use now, Barnes & Noble, only offers the books online with a computer program, they have nothing for tablets or other mobile devices that I've found yet. We'll see how well this particular adventure turns out.

Also up for debate: moving. I thought about moving down to Madison where my cousin is located and was going to ask if he wanted to be housemates but he had to go and get married WITHOUT TELLING ME. Loser. I'm actually incredibly proud and happy for him but not telling me? So not cool -.- We're quite close, and I was one of the first people he confided in when he came out. Ugh. He's going to hear about it when we meet up. Anywho, moving. Now I would either have to go there by myself, or look at places near where I want to go to school or my other option would be Texas. My best girlfriend moved there to be closer to her dad (he has ALS) and she wants a friend down there with her. I do know her family very well, our dads grew up together, and I also have two aunts within an hour's drive from where my friend is. But that's a long way from Wisconsin. On the other hand, TEXAS.

Lots of decisions to be making, that's for sure.

Holy crap that got long. Whoops.

warning: personal, welcome to my life
