The failboat has launched and I am an unwilling passenger. Dammit I wanted to try and do this so I had one song for everyday after starting. Better late than never, I guess.
Day 04 - A song that makes you sad
Harder than I thought, actually. I have a ton of songs that I listen to when I'm sad but I realized they're on my 'sad' playlist because they're happy songs and, therefore, should make me feel happier. Which they do, usually. Or they make me feel even more like shit because my life isn't as awesome as the songs.
So, today's song really hits home, because it's about her real life experiences in middle/high school, which I can totally relate to on most levels. Sad songs can be beautiful in their own right sometimes, but she has such a beautiful voice that this really just reaches out and tugs at your heartstrings. Well, it does for me anyway.
