I am horrible at repsonding /o\laranlas_kerynMarch 9 2015, 03:50:36 UTC
I am so sorry I haven't checked your fic yet, I swear I am going to do it. I am a horrible person. I've been in such a bad state emotionally for the past week but I will read it ASAP.
Me too, on all counts.
Thanks! I'm gonna talk to my professor on Tuesday, explain what's been going on with me and if I have a chance at passing.
That is really sad, but its really weird how he got better at the end.
It's horrible :/ At this point he is pretty much immobile and can barely talk. He's being fed via a tube. But I think the worst is that his brain is still 100% functioning. He's completely there mentally, his body is just gone. And pretty much if he gets sick, its all over. My dad caught a cold on Friday when he came home (they left Saturday) and he and another buddy of his joked that he'd probably end up killing Mike. It sounds horrible, but really it would probably be the best thing for him, you know? He wouldn't be suffering anymore. Just, like I said, I wish I had the chance to see him one last time before he does pass, he was such an important part of my life.
Dogs are weird. And totally like men, lol. I'm already going crazy on my own with the pups because while Smoke is out Mickey has to be away and I can't handle Smoke for very long because he's so big and so powerful and sometimes he just goes CRAZY. They've been gone two days and I'm already exhausted from him. I'm definitely a small dog person now, that's for sure.

Oh, don't worry about that. You have other things to care about.
It does sound horrible, but living like this, especially when he's aware of everything, when he realizes how bad he's doing and how much he's 'bothering' his family... I'd never want that. I'd rather go.
The smaller, the better. Although I've always liked big dogs. But me and mom have decided, separately, that the dogs we have now are probably the last ones. We just don't have enough time for them, four times a day going for a walk when you're super tired and it's cold out there, etc... I think, from now on, I'm sticking with cats.
