Wicked hot
It is so freaking hot in Missouri right now, they should rename the state Misery..... In other news life is going well.
I would like to note that in the last week I have received from friends from high school and college declaring they were engages, pregnant and divorced. None of these are the same person. The engages is Ais and I am so freaking excited for you!!!!! The preggers, Mel who is now living with her BF in TN and the divorced Julie Silvestro (who has two rugrats of her own). All in all it makes me feel really fucking old. I thought aving married friends made me feel old. The I thought having pregnant friends (especially the ones who PLAN the pregnancies) made me old, but I have now officially entered old, I have a friend who is divorced. Sheesh!!!!!
So yesterday I played hookey. I left for work at about 7:15am and stopped at the bank on the way to deposit some checks from like my birthday and christmas (I know, I'm late on this)..... As I was pulling out I came to Stadium Drive and thought "if I turn left, I go to work; If I turn right, I can go to St. Louis and buy stuff to finally decorate my apartment." I took a vote and going to St. Louis won by a landslide (1-0).
So I got stuff and decorated my apartment last night. It looks fabulous. It actually looks like someone lives there now! and it's only been 10 months since I moved in..... I'll have pics tomorrow. Also, i recently acquired a washer and dryer. I love the, they are my new best friends. Now I am really grown up!
