World Cup update.
Alright! World Cup.
Three games today. Two great and one ...hmm so so.
- Portugal vs. Iran:
Portugal won. I was rooting for them because the coach is Brazilian :P but the game wasn't all that great.
- Czech Republic vs. Ghana.
I loved that Ghana won. They were excellent. African teams are always warm and the players have a nice style. They deserved the win and and they missed a lot of chances to score ... including a penalty. A PENALTY!!
Now the best game of the day was Italy vs. USA.
Fantastic game. I love the Italians because they always bring hot players ;) but I was rooting for the Americans. Sure the American team isn't as good as the Italians - Italy has more tradition - but what the American lacked in ability here and there (they have talent) they have extra in will and desire to win. They deserved to win and it was a shame they couldn't get the second goal.
Okay...that's all I have for today.
Brazil is playing tomorrow. WOO-HOO!
