Hermione was standing outside of the house on the walkway there was no snow or holiday decorations. In fact it looked like it was summer and in some sort of heat wave. As she entered she saw her house but it seemed darker somehow. She ascended the steps to find her husband and she found him laying on their bed shirtless drinking firewhisky from the bottle. The pictures of her friends were drawings and the picture of her beloved parents was terribly burnt. She approached her husband and saw her reflection in the mirror and all the markings there returned.
Hermione opened her eyes from the spell lying on her bed. Beside her was the Prewett tiara , her new present tickets to the Weird Sisters inside spell book on her other side. Severus had gone to a seer to get some guidance as to how to proceed. The seer was unable to assist Hermione for something was blocking her vision. She lent Severus a book that had a spell to see the heart of the matter. Severus was there in the room watching her to intervene if anything went wrong. He was looking at her waiting patiently for details.
