14 days and counting
14 days until Movie 5.
I'm actually really excited for the Half Blood Prince even though this was my least favorite book. It has more to do with some of the stories I'm working on than anything else. What I really need to do is read through the books again to figure out everything I can glean about the original Order of the Phoenix. So far, I'm about six chapters into Book 1 (not counting my reread of Book 7 earlier this year) and can't seem to make myself read faster. Reading seems to have slipped in my priorities and probably won't gain preeminence until after my sister's wedding. *sigh* 26 days to go until that happy day. So many countdowns in my life right now!
I've forgotten just how much fun it is to write fanfic, together or alone. There's all these ideas in my head! I wish my original ideas hung out in my head like this and had this kind of fun! It's like a party in my imagination these days!
Granted, I am trying to diversify this time around. Share the wealth, as it were. I hope that idea works!
The really sad thing about all the current ideas I'm writing... all the people die. Well, not all but enough that it makes for some sad consideration of the future. *shakes her fist in the air* Darn you, JKR! Only giving us the names of the people who died! It's enough to send a fanficcer into shock from all the loss and upset they have to deal with! *grins* But it is more fun!
