Tonks stared at Charlie, amazed that his words hurt so much. "I'm leaving. I can't stay here forever. There's nothing here for me."
Nothing here for you? she wanted to scream. No words came out but that was probably a good thing. What am I that you can walk away? How can you leave me without an explanation or a better reason than that?
She stayed silent, watching him shrug as if this conversation meant nothing to him. Nothing at all. Everything was going to change and she wasn't sure that she was ready for her Charlie to be gone.
