NaNo idea
Was talking to the girls at work today about how much I was enjoying reading The Night Circus (had started it but put it down to read Dracula) and was mentioning that it had been a NaNo novel. If I remember correctly, she had taken a dare and... Voila. A novel. Okay, not voila. But she did go down a path she'd never intended to go on.
I think I'm going to do the same thing. I'm going to take my Streetlight characters and just... let them go wild. No dare is too insane, no prompt crazy enough. I'm going to do NaNo the way it is meant to be done and which I've never done it. I'm not going to plan or graph or stress. I'm going to have fun and I'm going to ask my characters to do the same.
It's early yet to be planning these things but it was such a freeing revelation to have this afternoon that I just had to share.
