I actually had a gambling problem for awhile. In the US, you can't gamble before the age of 18 (maybe it's 21... I can't remember now) but I worked in a grocery store that sold lottery tickets that the other checkers would sell me even though they weren't supposed to. I am amazed at how much money I spent back then, thinking that I was going to win on the next one... okay, the next one... the next one... It's like this never-ending cycle that was really hard to break. I don't do any sort of gambling now because I don't dare start up again. It's a thing that I know I have trouble with.

Yes, I can sing! *grins* Quite well. It was something I've done since I was very young. I have a naturally low voice (I can do a "sexy telephone operator " voice without even needing to be sick!) so I have to pick songs that suit it which is a pain because otherwise I sound like a screeching cat. Like anything else, you just have to know your strengths and play up to them.

Do you ever forget the tattoo is there if you can't see it? It just seems like a waste if you can't see it. Can other people see it? I want something very personal that I can look at and think, "Oh, right. I remember now."

Mhh, I tend to forget I have tatoos. I mean, I even forget about the one on my calf, which I can see partly without a mirror (just with a little gymnastics^^). I guess, everyone forgets about it, as it is a part of you, it is skin and it is normal. In the beginning, I always knew it was there, but after seven years, I just don't think about it anymore. Well, after surgery my first question was 'Did they cut into the tatoo?!?!' (They didn't - thank god), so I don't forget about it totally.^^

When I wear shorts, one can see the tatoo on my calve. When I wear a shirt with a big neck, one can see a little part of my tatoo on the back. Other then that and in the sauna or when I go swimming, no, it can't be seen.

For me both tatoos (and everything which is going to be done some day) are very personal. The one on my back is a reminder to always cherish the great years with my dad. I can't look at it and remember, but I remember it anyway. For me my tatoos are more of a homage to all the greatness which it stands for.

I have serious troubles explaining this in English, does one understand what I want to say? o.O

*nods* I understand!!!!

You asking about your tattoos reminds me of the time they were going to be cutting my abdomen and they asked if I wanted to keep my belly button and I was like, "Uh, sure" because I really didn't care. As soon as I was coherent, all I wanted to know was if they were able to "save" my belly button. It makes for a great laugh now but I was seriously worried at the time.

What other tattoos do you want to get?

I can understand that one wants to save his/her belly button^^ I'd want to keep mine too.

I want zebra stripes all over my left thigh and left ass cheek. I want the logo of my old football team, but I don't know where yet. The first I can't afford at the moment, the second still needs a good idea for a good place. I'd love it over my heart, but I think tatoos on the chest are just so... I don't know, I just don't like them ^^
