HOW MANY MORE OF THESE DRABBLES DO I NEED TO WRITE????? *sobs* I can't wait for it to be the second week of March so I can rest. I can rest, right? RIGHT????

Title: Don't You Realize He Loves You
Prompt: Family Affair
Word Count: 243
Rating: PG
Original/Fandom: Original - Streetlight People 'verse
Pairings (if any): Lec/Aja
Warnings (Non-Con/Dub-Con/RPF etc): none
Summary: Cyril Ann wins the girl fight.

Cyril Ann lay a wet cloth over Aja's forehead. The older girl had circles under her eyes and her skin was pale and gray. Her dark hair lay in sweaty ropes across the pillow, still beautiful and thick even without being cared for. It reminded her of Xie and her fingers ached to thread through it as she would have if it was him. "How long have you been sick?"

"Not long." The reply was instantaneous, a sure sign that it was a lie. Aja was the best liar she'd ever met, after all.

"When was the last time you ate?"

The dark, sightless eyes found her gaze as if she knew exactly where to look. "What do you care?"

"Because I don't want your brother to come home to find you dead from neglect. And, strangely enough, I find that I like you enough to want you around a bit longer. And I like Lec. He's gotten a little volatile of late. It would be nice if you wouldn't yank his chain like this. He thinks you're dying when it is clearly just a fever."

Pain pinched her features and Aja flinched away at the mention of Lec's name. "Tell him I died. Maybe that will keep him away."

"No, that will just make him tear this building down, one board at a time, until he can get to your cold, lifeless body. Silly girl. Don't you realize that he loves you?"

Title: Stay Put
Prompt: Rain
Word Count: 245
Rating: PG
Original/Fandom: Original - Streetlight People 'verse
Pairings (if any): Lec/Aja
Warnings (Non-Con/Dub-Con/RPF etc): none
Summary: My, our Cyril Ann is sneaky.

By the time she had settled Aja back into a clean bed and got the rooms into some semblance of order, Cyril Ann was exhausted. She hadn't realized just how much she missed Xie. He was the one who normally took care of his sister, pulling her out of these dark places and forcing her to eat when she would have rather wasted away. Cyril Ann wasn't a nurse by nature and she had to work hard to pull up the appropriate emotions.

It had been a little easier to convince Aja to tell her where the new charms were located. Once she disposed of them, she hurried down the stairs and waved over the man standing in the rain. "Are you trying to catch your death now that I've got her all settled? You two deserve each other." But she was smiling as she ushered Lec up the stairs, his shoulders loosening up a bit the closer he got to the top.

She made sure he got through the door without incident before tapping him on the arm. "I'm going to go get some food to stock her cupboards back up. It's going to take a couple of hours. Don't leave before I get back. I don't know if I was successful at knocking the charms out altogether."

He grunted a reply but at least he'd heard her. Cyril Ann counted it as a win that he was still aware she was even in the room.
