I'm always hesitant about getting into fandoms that have new movies and old comic books. While there are usually extensive wikis about those comic book histories, I always feel like I'm only writing part of the story. Of course, if you say that it's movie!verse then people won't be expecting you to necessarily know the comic book history. Still... I feel like there's a hole in my knowledge and that bothers me. It's why I never got into X-Men as a writing genre.
I think my love of Captain America may be able to override those hesitations. I don't know. I should watch the movie again. And again. And then make the decision. And then watch the movie again.
