I've finished with Consumed. At least, as much as I can. I'm to a place that might be an ending but I won't know for sure until Aster reads it. Now on to the edits.
Now I'm listening to Sara Bareilles and figuring out which
fandom_stocking entries I want to write for. So far, I've only looked up Leverage because I have a yin to write some Hardison/Parker/Eliot. Will search through SGA next and maybe some Once Upon a Time. I could write Snow/Charming until it was coming out my ears and be able to fill most of them. There was one Ruby request but it was for a crossover that I don't know the other side of so I guess I'll keep my fingers crossed that maybe, somewhere, there's a Ruby story buried somewhere in there. My stocking is
here, if anyone is interested!
I also took some time this morning to write a quick Radek story for last week's post at
sga_saturday. Contemplating what to write for the new one. Need to see about some of the other fannish giving things I signed up for. Now that I have my two big stories done, I can concentrate on the little ones. I should see how many stories I wrote last year because I want to triple that. I'm in a lot more fandoms this year! Plus, it's fun how many names I recognize this year. While I don't mind writing for complete strangers, I really do like writing for people I've seen around.
Plus, I do need to see about finishing up Aster's story from LAST YEAR that I "gave" her for Christmas. Six chapters later and I'm still not done. Of course, all the Cousin fics are for her, forever and always. Without her, there would not be Cousins or any of the characters that went along with them. If all things go well, we'll be done with When Night Falls Again by this time next year and we'll have new characters to play around with. Hooray!
Oooh! And I really want to start working on the
ancientctybingo card I got because I want to do an Apocalyptic story that ties together all the prompts. I was talking to Beth about it at work the other day (such a sweet girl to nod her head and smile when I talk about this stuff that she has no idea about!) and got some really good ideas. The key will be to write them ALL instead of one or two and losing interest. Yes, that's me. Squirrel Girl!
