My muse has been crafting

Here are some of the bracelets I've been working on lately:

The bottom one (black and white) is a single strand of what is usually a wrap bracelet but I made so many mistakes that I wanted to end the torture and just make another one later. Haven't made it yet.

The next three are variations on a bead bracelet that I saw. I'm using binding for the base which is working well so far. I've got TONS of binding because it's one of those things that Mom has acquired from relatives who are cleaning out their sewing rooms and she keeps taking it. I don't know why.

The green one is made with a hemp thread and some beads. I did some braiding on it but it's mostly just beads and string. It was my first experience putting it on that type of closure and I like it. Definitely will have to buy more of those.

Next two are variations on a braid technique that I'm trying out. I'm excited to see how the top one fairs with everyday wear. I used some chunky yarn, polyester yarn and some raffia.

This is the second one I made with the hemp thread. I used square beads and my first attempt was so tight that it wouldn't bend! This now belongs to Randye.

Here's a closeup of the one bead bracelet that has a closure. This will be PERFECT with my orange shirt.
