I wish that was me

I was super productive last night on this random scene where J tells P a story. It's sort of an important story, too. It sets the scene for all of my mythology. Lots of words came out. I just don't know which ones to keep. It's in a notebook so I'll (hopefully) be typing it up soon. I'm just so unsure of what direction I want to go in. At first, I thought this was an awesome thing to start writing because it would set everything up but now I think I need to write some more places before I settle on the whole kit-n-kaboodle. It just makes me so discouraged. It shouldn't but it does. I need to drabble some of the bits and see what I can come up with. No being discouraged.

I'm super tired. My back, while not hurting me during the day, isn't letting me sleep again. I think I'm going to sleep on the couch tonight and see if that doesn't help me. If it helps... well, I don't know what I'm going to do. I'm just so tired of waking up at 3am in pain. I can go back to sleep but it's not restful and I usually am breaking up a REM cycle so I've been having weird, vivid dreams.

I had a blast from the past today. A guy I went to high school with came and spoke at our church. We haven't seen each other since we graduated (okay, we both went to the same college when I was a Junior for a bit but I quite hanging out with him pretty quickly as he already had a set of friends and they weren't exactly looking for new friends) and he's been in Thailand for about 10 years. Turns out he's seen a couple of our classmates over there! How small is his world!!!! That is so cool! I told him to pass along well-wishes to them as I doubt I'll probably ever see that group again. His daughter are ADORABLE and know a little English. We hope to see them again before they leave to go back in two years.

My parents are now watching some strange infomercial which means that both of them have fallen asleep. Ah, time for the Sunday afternoon nap. I think I may head to my house and join them in the weekly ritual.
