It's been a rough week in Pharmacy land. The kind of week that you wouldn't wish on your worst enemy. People are just more crazy than normal with the stuff in Japan... none of them seem to be worrying about the PEOPLE of Japan. No, they're worried about what will happen to THEMSELVES if there is any nuclear fallout.
For some time, I've had this alter ego at work. Her name is Bitter Girl. She comes out from time to time and I have to work on reigning her back in.
A couple of weeks ago she got a rally cry. When faced with a problem, she says, "Eh... Dee... It!" (I'll have to find that place on line where I can record myself doing that because you really have to HEAR it. She gets a power boost when people say, "Oooohhh..." That is also something that you need to hear to get the full impact of.
Yesterday, Bitter Girl got a side kick. His name is Paper Shredder (which is better than Overly Bright Boy which was his name for awhile). He spends most of his time counteracting Bitter Girl's carbon footprint but he's a good guy. He's a got this thing he does. BG says, "Whaddya think of that?" and he says, "She's craaaaaazy." Much better in person as well!
Today, I decided I needed a shirt with a big B on it to wear. And then Beth made me this little B button thing to wear. The joke is that in BG's universe it blinks "PS stinks" whenever there's trouble.
And then the story ideas started flowing out of my skull. That muse that's been shoe shopping? Oh, she's best friends with Bitter Girl for some reason. I have the title and synopsis for the first two stories, the first being called The Midnight B and the second Cobalt Underground.
I don't know who she's fighting... other than idiots. Her powers come from electricity (she was struck by lightning which is what turned her) and stupid people learning things that they'll forget in a few seconds. If you have any ideas, let me know. She won't run into this nemesis until the end of story 2.
Oh, I hope I can get some of this written down soon. Gold, I tell you! Gold!
