Actually I gave up halfway through because I'd seen so much L&O and watching it re-enacted with a couple of Anglicisms thrown in just seemed pointless. It seemed a cheap and tacky way to make a show - write new episodes if you're going to do a spin-off! I hate when Americans seem to have to remake everything (e.g. Life On Mars) so I don't see why I should give a free pass when we do it!
On the other hand I like Bamber a lot more here than I ever did in BSG, and the whole Apollo + Martha Jones thing was vaguely amusing.
