The rarepair_shorts story that was written for me this winter fic celebration is AWESOME! It's a combination of the pairs I asked for so it's Ginny/Blaise, Megan/Zacharias, and Kingsley/Hestia! Very cool! You can find it HERE. Can't wait to find out who wrote it! I have a suspicion but I'm so often wrong about these things, especially since I don't know the community folk that well.
Today has been a rough one for me to keep a smile on my face. Fridays often are. Coworker is hard to deal with on a Friday and she's been especially gruesome this week. Is it possible for stupid to come in waves? I think so. Someone should get a grant and study it. Or I could. Would make this job a little more worthwhile.
Also, some idiot was really rude to me today and it started this spiral downward for my mental abilities that culminated in me having to send a claim form because I MESSED UP and reversed something I shouldn't have reversed. I hate that! But I didn't take the time to take a deep breath and had this random part-timer hanging over my shoulder which made me, for some reason, make stupid choices. I don't know why. I was in such a fog that I couldn't even tell you what exactly happened. Not good!
But now it's Friday afternoon and it's our slow time so I'm going to look around the internet and see what there is to see while I pretend that I'm working. The good thing is that I'm ready to help anyone that comes looking for help so that's good. At least I'm in a good place right now.
Also, HAVE YOU SEEN THE TRAILER FOR CLASH OF THE TITANS? I really couldn't be bothered in the 80s when the original came out... or was it already out by then? I don't know. All I know is that I was never impressed with the first one. I think I saw it while babysitting or something. But now I'm totally excited about it. Probably because I know a little bit more about the mythology now than I ever did back then. Who knows. Anyway, I'm excited about it. Also kind of excited to see Shrek: Forever After after seeing the trailer this morning. It's not one that I'll have to see in the theater unless someone invites me cause I've only ever seen the others on DVD.
