The snow is melting ever so slowly...
I have 2 drabbles nearly complete for my New Year's Drabble MeMe (feel free to give me more ideas... even if you've already done one because so far I've really liked what you guys have come up with!) and nearly 2000 words (out of 15000) written for the JossBigBang. I need to work on that a little harder as I don't have THAT many days off for the holiday. Ah, those good ol' days when I seemed to have TOO MUCH TIME OFF for the holidays. And I supposed I could take some days off but it's hard when there aren't that many of us. It makes it hard on everyone else.
Have I told you all how much I love getting to talk/stalk you on Twitter? Well, I do. Since I'm not around the internet all the time, you all MAKE MY DAY BRIGHTER. It's just so random, you know? And so varied. One tweet is about someone's car and the next is about how they hate their sister and then there's another one linking me to something cool on YouTube. I just love it. I feel like part of a community again. I miss community. You never know how good you have it until it's gone, you know?
Anyway, I have to go back to work. The white mocha seems to have done the trick. I feel MUCH more awake right now. Let's hope it gets me through the afternoon.
And I get my hair cut this evening!!! It's going to spike again if I have to use GLUE. I hate this inbetween stage. Soon it'll be March and it'll be gone again but I have to deal with it right now. Wonder if I should do blue dye before Christmas? Do you think my mom would like that for the annual Christmas morning pictures? *grins*
