Church is over and I came back to Mom & Dad's house for one last glorious hour or so on the computer. I'd actually really like to head back to Gramma's house because I have a new Netflix video to watch as well as Half Blood Prince which I haven't watched at all yet. And my eyes are tired... didn't get as much sleep last night because the electricity went out about 11:30 (which is when I finally packed it all in for the night) but then I kept half waking so that I could check to see if everything had come back on. While I could take something (and I do need to take some allergy medicine which would help) I'm just putting it off because I don't have anything here.
The above paragraph boils down to this one thought... I wish I had internet where I am currently staying.
Most of my entries are along that same line. I do apologize to those of you who actually read through my posts as they all seem to be the same complaint. My problem is that I'm trying to fit my online life into an hour or so a day and sometimes not even that. I've had to push a lot of things to the side in an attempt to stick to my commitments.
Do you want to know something truly amazing? My Best Friend's Wedding is nearly 13 years old! I tell you this, my mouth hanging open in awe, because it was one of those movies that I really reverberated with when it came out. I knew I was going to be that girl that never got the boy. All I could really hope for was a soundtrack just as cool. *grins* That and the people were nearly my age which, until that point, hadn't really been true. Everyone was so much older and cooler. Watching the movie yesterday, I couldn't believe how young everyone looked back then. And then it makes me think of how young I was and how old I'm looking these days. *sigh* It happens to the best of us.
And another great thing? I'm almost caught up with the season of Doctor Who that I missed!!!! Hence the icon today. All hail David Tennant! All hail teh hair! There are some episodes waiting for me when I get home. *happy sigh*
