West Seattle in the day time-- People are really nice.
This lovely man named Warren found my bag and wallet in a bush 20 blocks from my house while walking his dog this morning! He brought it into work and I thanked him with cupcakes. His children were really excited. He told me where to go, so I looked in the bush and found EVERYTHING that was in my wallet, sans cash money, just chillin' in the branches! MY KEYS TOO! AND BOTTLE ROCKET!! AND MY MEDICINE!!! My book was waterlogged, but will be just fine after a couple of days by the radiator and they left their cigarette packages in the bag so I can give them to the police for fingerprinting!
All they got was my phone (that wont work because it's been reported to verizon as stolen), my ipod (which they probably sold on craigslist for really cheap or something :() and 7 doblers/change.
Now that I've hooked my battery back into my car and I've received all my new things in the mail, I feel really lucky and thankful that this worked out better than I had anticipated. I'm going to make sure I don't do many things at night anymore. It can wait until morning. And I'm sellin' that bag; there is some BAD juju attached to that thing.
